So we have had a nice little vacation from blogging ...
but I am finally ready to report on what we have been up to.
We (& all 10 suitcases) landed safely in Arizona just in time to start celebrating Christmas.
-We took some Flake Family Photos.
-Went to a cousin's wedding.
-Visited with Family.
-Celebrated our anniversary (Thanks Larry & Debbie)
-Went shopping.
-Watched the "Christmas Carol"
-Played Games
-Ate ALOT.
-Opened presents.
-Shopped some more.
-Ate ALOT more.
-Found an apartment.
-Jumped on a plane to Boise.
-Opened more presents.
-Built a Snowman.
-Snowboarding at Bogus Basin.
-Movie with Grandma Darlene
-Some more shopping.
-Chicago Connection Pizza.
-Celebrated the New Year Murder Mystery Style.
-Went to Goldfork Hot Springs.
-Went to a friends wedding reception.
-Watched the Fiesta Bowl. GO BSU!!!
-Went to the temple where we were married.
-First Thursday in BoDo.
-Painted up our dinner table.
-Played lots of games.
-Ate some delish Mexican Food.
-Bought an awesome antique chair.
-Loaded our belongings in a Moving Truck and started the long drive to Arizona.
-Stopped in Utah to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Fusselman.
-Drove.
-Ate Cafe Rio
-Drove.
-And Drove some more.
-Stopped in Flagstaff to take a little break at the sleazy Super 8.
We finally drove into Gilbert last Sunday morning.
The next day we bought a new mattress, moved into our new apartment, bought a new car ...
and for now we are getting settled in & loving unemployment.

Wow lots of adventures :) Enjoy the unemployment as long as you can. Well not too long, just enough before things get hectic right? Cute how you all got dressed up for the new year!
So much fun! I am glad you guys found a place and had so much fun with each other and your families. We miss you guys already! Good luck finding jobs!

Holy Moley! That's a lot! I have to laugh, we have so many things in common. New car, new mattress shopping (still haven't bought it), new apartment, packing, moving. Pretty much all madness! Hopefully one day, we'll get to see you guys, good luck with everything!
