There is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby

... I know I may be a little bias, but I've never seen a cuter baby.

We just got Milo's newborn pictures back from the photographer.

They were taken when he was 2 1/2 weeks old ...

They are already precious to us as he seems to be growing like a weed!

He's taken over everything ... & we love it!

Grandma Sure Loves Milo

My mom isn't usually a big planner ahead type, but she booked an airplane ticket way in advance to come and see Milo right after his birth, assuming that he would come a little late or on time. So when he came two weeks early, that was too long to wait to meet the first grandbabe ...

So we got to have her come twice, which we loved...

Another week of a clean house

Another week of home cooked meals

Another week of Grandma on night duty

Thanks for coming Mom we loved having you!

Come back anytime, like maybe next week.

Plus, the first visit we did newborn stuff ...

and the second time around we got to get out and play a little more!

On Saturday we went to Downtown Phoenix and cruised up 7th Ave.

Which is full of great vintage and antique shops and boutiques

Milo loves his Baby Bjorn & Jordan loves carrying him in it!

I found some table legs (more on that later) at an antique shop

and we ate lunch at American Tacos ... yummy Carne Asada!

Then we came home and Jordan planted us a little garden

Some flowers, herbs, and some veggies.

We are loving Spring!

P.S. isn't this a fun way to jazz up a pedestal table?

I might have to try it when I am needing a change ...

Forget Castor Oil ...

I am convinced that upholstery induces labor.

The day before Milo's birth, Jordan and I started taking apart this chair, ripping out staples and what not. Up until that point I hadn't had any contractions, and what do you know ... that night the contractions started, I passed time between contractions by pulling out staples ... and the next day Milo arrived.

When we got home from the hospital, both his rocking chair and nursery were completely torn apart... We thought we had at least two more weeks to get it together.

It took awhile and lots of hands... but the chair is finally complete!

I can't take credit for anything but creative direction ...

Jordan, His Mom, and My Mom did all the work (thanks)

Splish Splash

Milo had his first real bath this morning.

He wasn't crazy about it ... but he sure looked cute!

Due Date

Today is/was my due date!

Even though I wasn't quite prepared for his early arrival ...

I am so thrilled that I have this sweet two week old babe

The last two weeks have truly been the best ever!

I love being his mom.

First Doctors Visit

Milo had his first doctors appointment.

He is a healthy baby, which we are so grateful for.

Height: 20 1/4 inches

Weight: 6 lbs 13 oz

Head Circumference: 13 3/4

Milo decided that he didn't really like the doctor checking him out ...

so he peed ALL over me, the doctor, and the office.

and had very proud look on his face.
