My mom isn't usually a big planner ahead type, but she booked an airplane ticket way in advance to come and see Milo right after his birth, assuming that he would come a little late or on time. So when he came two weeks early, that was too long to wait to meet the first grandbabe ...
So we got to have her come twice, which we loved...
Another week of a clean house
Another week of home cooked meals
Another week of Grandma on night duty
Thanks for coming Mom we loved having you!
Come back anytime, like maybe next week.
Plus, the first visit we did newborn stuff ...
and the second time around we got to get out and play a little more!
On Saturday we went to Downtown Phoenix and cruised up 7th Ave.
Which is full of great vintage and antique shops and boutiques
Milo loves his Baby Bjorn & Jordan loves carrying him in it!
I found some table legs (more on that later) at an antique shop
and we ate lunch at American Tacos ... yummy Carne Asada!
Then we came home and Jordan planted us a little garden
Some flowers, herbs, and some veggies.
We are loving Spring!
P.S. isn't this a fun way to jazz up a pedestal table?
I might have to try it when I am needing a change ...

he's gettin so big! well, not really, but he's not so newborny... in other news, kimmy literally lives around the corner from American Tacos and raves about it. I have refused to go because of the name. Was it good?

This is Ryan Hagge's wife, Rachael. I just wanted to share something with you about baby wearing. When considering a carrier, look for carriers that distribute the baby's weight and their bum's are lower (as if sitting). When baby's are stiff and held up by their pubic bones, there spinal develop is changed from a natural sway to straight. I don't want to bash baby bjorn, but they're not in your best interest or your baby's. Try finding a moby wrap or an ergo. Ergo are especially comfortable for dads. You can also find more information if you google babywearing.
ps. your baby is absolutely yummy. I'm ready for another baby after seeing him.
