So I don't know if our new pad really counts as living on a farm, but that's what I like to call it.
We moved about a mile away from our old apartment, into a little house behind an elderly couple who have a couple goats, a few cows, a chicken coup, a few cats, a dog, a fish pond, and 2 hydroponic greenhouses.
A couple months ago Jordan's co-worker told him about some people in his ward that had a little house on their property that they were looking to rent.
So we went and checked it out.
Sometime during our initial visit Ida, our 75+ year old landlord, asked when I was due.
I told her I was due the beginning of March.
To which she replied, "Oh Goodie, My 2 Goats are due in April ... We will have babies all over the place."
Initially, I was totally against it.
It was just too werid ...
But the more I thought about it ... It just made sense.
More Room
Cheaper Rent & utilities are included
FREE organic fruits & veggies from the greenhouses
No more trashy apartment neighbors
We are still living in squaller ... trying to sort through boxes and get settled.
But so far we love life on the farm

Oh, I think once you really settle in you will LOVE it. Not such a big farm that it's taking over your life, but plenty of space and animals to entertain the kid--or you and your husband if you're anything like me and Mike! hahahaha!
oh that sounds fabulous! i hope you love it. i'm sure you will. and i can't wait to see what the house looks like! i can only imagine it will look perfect. you're so talented.
I bet your son will love telling everyone that he was raised on a farm...for as long as it lasts.
