My cousin Crystal is a Treasure Valley Roller Girl. Last year we saw a little clip of her on ESPN & I have heard so much about the bouts from my family. So to show our support and for a little entertainment we headed downtown to the Roller Derby on Saturday. We got VIP floor seating, right in the middle of all the action and it was unlike anything I had ever been to. There are some tough chicks out there and I loved all the derby names, My favorite name of the evening was a 300 pounder named 'Steamboat Lily'. But the highlight of the evening was after the derby when Natalie & I got approached & asked to join the team. Afterwards we headed to Fanci Freeze for some treats. Milo really wanted some ice cream and kept grabbing at Natalie's ... a few minutes later he got his wish, when her cone fell apart and landed on his bald little head.
