On Saturday we decided to explore our new neighborhood. We checked out the outlet mall and then headed to Lake Pleasant for a little picnic. Neither of us had ever been before so I had plans to throw down our picnic blanket at a green grassy park under a shade tree and eat our sandwiches, then swim on a sandy little beach. But it was quite different then I had imagined ... Rocks, Dirt, Cactus. I guess I need to remember I am not in Idaho anymore. Despite it being different than our expectations a pleasant time was had by all. Milo especially loved chewing on carrots.
