Milo loves to read books. Usually he latches onto a couple of books at a time and wants to read them over and over again. Lately two of his favorites are "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "The Very Busy Spider" ... my favorite part of him loving to read is listening to him "read" the books that he has memorized. It's darling!
We also started doing "No Screens Weeks" meaning No games or shows or anything on the iPad, TV, Computer, or Phone. We got in the habit of watching a show during breakfast and then one show turned into two or three and Milo would be very unhappy when I would finally take away the iPad... things were getting out of control. Plus, I wasn't loving some of the things he was learning from the shows (Caliou is annoying!) Taking the time to take a break from "screens" has been good for all of us. Its been really nice to connect with Milo and talk to him. He has been enjoying reading and playing alot more and his temperament has been a lot more pleasant.
