The other day a friend and I took our kids to a little park so they could run around. Shortly after arriving there both kids and their shoes off and were splashing in the puddle of dirty water leftover from the sprinklers. I wasn't thrilled, but the damage was already done so I figured I might as well let him have some fun. That was until I saw him bend down and try to lap up the water like a cat. I immediately took him home, he wasn't happy to be leaving but when he got home and found out the consequences were a mid-day bath I don't think he was too sad any longer.
