To Mom, with Love

My Mom is full of energy and buck-wild! There is never a dull moment when my mom is around. She does a good job of making everyone around her have a good time. She is determined to stay young. She has a strong testimony of the gospel and is never afraid to stand up for what she believes in and say what is on her mind. We sometimes butt heads but even when we argue I still know she loves me. She is a great mom, example, and friends to me. I love you, Mom!

This summer while everyone was in town visiting, my mom had planned events for every minute of every day. One of the activities was to go boogie boarding at this play wave on the Payette River ... She originally had planned to just watch, but she couldn't stand to be on the sidelines .... so here she is preparing to jump in the river in her white capri pants:

And here she is afterward, in her wet, semi-see through capris hiding behind the boogie board! Jordan's mom, Debbie, is the best mother-in-law I could have ever asked for! She has made me feel so loved and welcomed in to the Flake family. She is a good listener and very supportive. She is very thoughtful and is constantly looking for ways to serve us. She has sent me many packages of cute craft magazines so I would have something to do while Jordan is doing his homework. She is very thoughtful and kind. I am so grateful that I have such an awesome mother in law! I am so excited to get to spend the summer with her and Erika! I love you, Debbie!

Jordan would describes her as one of his best friends. He loves to talk to his mom. They have a great relationship. Jordan really looks up to his mom and vaules her opinion. He loves her very much. i would have had him write his own tribute to his mom, but he is partying in Philadelipha with out me! :)

We have awesome Moms! Happy Mother's Day! Thanks for everything that you do for us .... We love you both!
