Lets just say that Day 1 in Paris was very interesting.
We started off the day by going to lunch at a little French Cafe.
Then we walked to Notre Dame.

Then we walked to the Eiffel Tower.
We got lost along the way, but finally made it.

Then we planned to get a cab or bus or some sort of transport back to the hotel.
But we somehow got lost again and ended up walking a very long, scenic route back to our hotel past the Arc d' Triumph and down Avenue des Champs-Elysees.

We found a Winter Carnival in Paris as well.
Where Auntie Darla decided to try some Roasted Chestnuts.
(lets just say they weren't a hit).
12 1/2 km of walking around, mostly lost, and freezing cold
This is a map of our route, as good as I can remember ...

Lets just say we each had our individual break downs throughout the day,
but we were able to see a lot of beautiful sites.
Day 2 in Paris improved.
We got smarter and got another hop-on-hop-off tour bus.
Which basically drove the route, we had walked the day before.
So we saw the beautiful sights again, this time from the comfort of our tour bus.
We stopped at a French Restaurant, and had an incredibly hard time ordering
No one in the restaurant spoke English.
Did a little souvenir shopping.
Found Point Zero.
Spent the evening in the Louvre.

In the morning boarded another train, and we were off to Brussels
