Easter Grass
Last week, Heather invited us to plant Easter grass. At first I thought that Easter grass was a common Easter tradition that I had been deprived of my whole childhood, so I didn't want to risk sounding stupid by asking what Easter grass is all about. I finally asked, but it turns out Heather is just a creative and fun mom and is always creating fun things for Zane to do. So each of the boys had a little pail of dirt and seeds to plant, water, and watch grow. Perfect for spring! Milo doesn't quite get it, but he loved digging in the dirt. Maybe one day soon his little pail will sprout some grass ... if I can remember to water it.

I laughed out loud when you wrote your thought process about the grass. I thought you just thought it was a dumb idea and that you were just going along with it for my sake! You are having the problem of not watering your grass enough and Zane is going to drown our grass if it is the last thing he does!
I love the planting grass idea. Milo will love it even more next year.
