| Jordan at Machu Picchu--January 2012 |
Jordan recently accepted an internship opportunity in Lima, Peru. The internship is through Thunderbird and an organization called Salta. As I understand it he will be consulting Peruvian female entrepreneurs, helping them figure out ways to make their businesses more successful. So our little family will be living in the Miraflores area of Lima from May 17th - August 14th. We are really excited (and kind of nervous) for this opportunity! In order to get this internship, Jordan had an interview that was conducted entirely in Spanish and he was selected over many people who are fluent and/or native speakers. He hopes to be fluent in Spanish by the time that we leave in August and I hope to have some kind of a start on Spanish by the time we leave, but I don't have the gift of tongues like he does. So for now I am busy packing and preparing for our summer adventure and listing to spanish podcasts. If you are trying to think of a good summer vacation destination just remember, we would love to have visitors!

We are so there! I don't need to mention again that Clay is insanely jealous and that if we didn't have graduation, a new baby, moving, licencing, and a new job going on this summer, he would probably hop on a plane all by himself and stay the whole three months with you!! We will miss you guys like crazy!
Nice work Jordan! I bet all the Peruvian women go wild over sweet Milo!
Atta boy Jordan. Zac is kicking himself about Honduras....he would much rather be going to Peru. You will have a blast
Sign me up! How cool. That will be a trip of a lifetime!
I can't wait to hear what Milo picks up in Spanish. I'm glad he getting his international boots wet.
