Our daily routine is pretty similar to what it would be back home. So far, each morning we walk to the neighborhood park and play with the kids. The park is just three blocks from our apartment, it is located right on the cliff that overlooks the ocean which is super pretty. It is winter here, which basically means its super overcast, the temperature is moderate each day its been about 70 degrees. I would take Lima winter over Phoenix summer. Sometimes there are other white kids at the park but they are usually with nannies, so I am usually the only English speaking adult. So the nannies and I will stumble through a conversation ... what is his name, how old is he, where are you from, etc. We play for a while walk home, grab a snack (which means I eat an entire package of tim tams), and take a nap.

Tim tams. I am trembling with joy at the thought of a tim tam slam. You lucky. That's worth the trip all by itself.
