24 Hours of Family Fun
On Sunday morning Jordan got a text from his parents saying that they got a wild hair and were on their way to California for a quick visit. So we headed to church, came home threw our house together as best we could, and then they were here. We woke Milo up from his nap shortly after they arrived. It took him just a minute to wake up and realize what was going on, but then he was thrilled that Grandma and Papa were in town. We headed over to the Pasadena Flea Market at the Rose Bowl. It is the 2nd Sunday of every month and I have been dying to go. We showed up pretty late in the day, but there was still so much to see and the dealers were ready to bargain. Everyone found something to bring home. Jordan got a bolo tie, I got a bench for our entryway, Debbie got a side table, Larry got an antique milk jug thing, and Milo got a Dora the Explorer Ice Cream. Success! We are looking forward to going back. After the Flea Market we headed into Downtown Pasadena for some early dinner at Lemonade and again, It didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, Jordan had to work on Monday morning but that didn't stop us from having fun. We headed down to Porto's, a yummy Cuban bakery in Downtown Glendale, for breakfast and then went to Travel Town in Griffith Park. Milo was in heaven checking out all the trains. He wore out the word "train" he easily said it 100 times in the hour we were there. So much fun to watch him get so excited about something. After Travel Town we went to the playground for some more fun and then over to Burbank for some lunch with Jordan. While Milo napped, Larry and Debbie started the drive back to Phoenix. We packed in the fun during their 24 hour visit!

What a fun-filled short visit! What great picks you got from the Flea market. Caleb loves Travel Town, too. I make sure we drop by that place whenever we drive up to Santa Maria.
