A few weekends ago [April 5th] our friends offered to do a babysitting trade with us, so we went on our first date since we've lived here. (Not having grandparents around for babysitting stinks!) We decided to head up to the Griffith Observatory. We under estimated how busy it would be on a Friday night and ended up parking about a half mile away. The building and the city views were amazing. We missed out on the Planetarium show and started to wait in the line for the telescope, but it was going no where fast so we jumped out of line and headed back into town for a milkshake. It was nice to have a date night, just the two of us and we will definitely go back to the observatory!
