Last week we recieved countless warnings about this BIG storm that would be hitting Laie. We had this flyer posted to our door ... which claims 60 mile per hour winds. In fact all of the public schools and state offices were closed on Friday because they were sure that this storm was going to knock the power out and be huge (I think they just wanted a long weekend)
Well no big storm ever happened but on our way home from work and school we did get caught in a fierce rainstorm. Because of the wind, the rain was coming down sideways. Our entire frontsides were wet ...
And our backsides were quite a bit dryer ...
And here we are together, finally home where it is dry. .... and I am pretty sure the rainstorm stopped the second we stepped inside. Typical
Also, as of yesterday we have been married for 1 month! It has been amazing. We celebrated by going to the beach and going to Costco. We also ate a romantic dinner of Hot Dogs at the Costco Fast Food Window. They are cheap for a reason .... I'll never do it again.
